Re/Originals
Here's some tracks and their remixes, with a few cover versions, from the sci-fi dubbed-up version of the ancient folk song Scarborough Fair (with the Simon & Garfunkel version) to the acoustic Heart of Glass. (The reggae version of 7 Nation Army by Hard-fi didn't show up but check it out.)

The 'Major Tom' Epic, Parts I-IV
The story of Major Tom, who first appeared in David Bowie's Space Oddity (aka Ground Control to Major Tom). Bowie added part 2 with 'Ashes to Ashes' (from the Scary Monsters album,) which has Major Tom still adrift in space. Part 3 comes from Peter Schilling with Major Tom (Coming Home), here done by a cover band, (the english version is not yet on iTunes,) with Major Tom coming home. Part 4 of the saga, "Mrs. Major Tom", appears on "Adieu Shinjuku Zulu" CD, by K.I.A.; the story is now told from the perspective of the wife left at home. Major Tom has come back... but is still 'gone'. (He didn't burn up, he just burnt out...)
